rosie barbs color

I have a couple of Rosie barbs in my 65. And was curious because one was pretty red when I got them and one with no red. The one with no red is bigger than the other why hasn't she started to change?

Could be they are different sexes. Males are more red then females.

Could this also be the reason the red one always picks on the other but not on any other of my fish
