Safe for Aquarium?

Hello,

Can anyone tell what kind of wood this is and is it safe to put in the aquarium? I bought this at a local pet store cause of how cool of a piece it is but wondering if maybe it could ment for reptiles instead??? Image attached. Thanks!

It should be fine I would boil it if you can and soak it in a different container until it becomes waterlogged.

There are very few woods that are unacceptable in aquaria.

However, there could be some chemical treatment on it to prevent mold if its a reptile wood. I would call the store you got it from and see of they have answers or could direct you to their suppliers.
