Aquarium Advice Addict
Hello,
Yesterday I realized that I don't know how safe it is to dump wastewater from the API water test kits down the drain... some of the chemicals are pretty nasty with warnings about severe burns, etc and that made me think, is it okay to dump down the drain?
Is it safe to dump the waste water from the test kits down the drain? Also, we have a well, so it's not city or town water.
If not, what do we do with it?
Hubby suggested a milk jug, which would take quite a while to fill. Not sure where we'd dump it after but. If we did dump it in the milk jug, would it be safe to dump the wastewater from all the tests in it?
I'm sure other people have thought about this before, although I've never come across the question before in my fish research, although I haven't done too much reading yet.
Thanks everyone in advance and if there's anything else I missed or forgot to ask, please feel free to chime in!
