So my mom bought me some sea glass when she went on a cruise because she thought it would look nice in my reef tank. Well i politely said no and that i have the perfect idea for what to do with it... Well.. i really had no clue.

It occurred to me today that it could be used as a background for my 2.5g betta tank that is doing terrible atm. I would have to silicone it to the inside of the tank, but was worried about algae growth. What do you guys think?

Bless 'em. Do something with glass, take a photo, send photo, keep glass artwork for a year and then throw it out...

I have actually thought about this before. Home Depot has sea glass tile and thought it would look cool as the bottom of the tank. I never did it but thought it would look cool. We used to find blue sea glass at the shore and I used to put a few piece in my tank just laying at the bottom.
