Seahorses

Why don't sea horses get along with anything. I'm looking at the compatability chart and they don't seem to get along with anything... why is that?

It is not that they don't get along, it is that most fish are too fast for the slow moving ponies. Seahorses are slow and deliberate, if you put in a fish that is much faster than they are...the horses will die because they will never get any food.

Might want to check out Seahorses.org for more info. They are a little snobby at first but grow on you...

Yes, pipefish are closely related to seahorses

Yeah but you still have to be careful because pipefish are somewhat faster than seahorses as well

Seahorses are also incredibly timid. Even if they are with another fish that is a slow eater, they may be to afraid to eat. They are stressed and scared quite easily by other fish.
