I've gone ahead and purchased Selcon and Garlic. From what I've read here, it seems the way to go. I read the package directions, but am curious as to the methods you fine people employ. How long a soak? How much do you use? Always get good ideas from you folks!

20-30 minutes for me too, but I also add Zoe along with the garlic and Selcon.

It really depends on the type of food you are soaking. If it is flake, it absorbs it immediately and can then be fed. If it is a cube of frozen, put 2-3 drops on the cube and let it thaw completely then feed. For my eels and other predators that eat the large shrimp, I actually tank an insulin needle/syringe and inject a couple drops into the shrimp and then feed it.
