I've had him for a month now, but that pic is kind of old, he was about two weeks old there, now he is a good 5 inches, but it is totally worth it! But understand they get to be 18 inches long, so I am buying a 55 gallon for him with tree branches so he can climb, a Jackson's chameleon gets to be around 14 inches, so smaller

From the research I've done that shouldn't be kept in aquariums do to the fact that they need fresh air... they also need tall enclosures at least 3ft, the best enclosure for male veiled chameleon is 2ft by 2ft by 4ft, mesh is the best material for their enclosures...

Yea, it has a mesh top and one side wall is mesh also
He has a lot of branches, thus a lot of room for him to climb

He needs to be able to climb up! It's his natural instincts to be high no matter how many branches he has he won't be able to go high! veiled chameleons are tree living creatures meaning they should have at least 4ft of upward space to climb!

Hum, yea, it is 38 inches tall, I know it's not 4 feet tall, but it's more than 3, and 4 feet long

omg its so cute!!!! so they weren't snake eggs?

The other eggs are snake eggs. I also found one small egg that I knew were brown anole eggs, so I figured I hatch it. I have hatched one before. They are pretty easy to hatch.

When I released the lizard he walked off my hand then ran back on like he wanted to stay with me lol. I know you can keep them as pets but I don't have a tan, so I put him down and he ran off.

This is the best close up I got of mine. During the car ride to their new home they cuddled together and it was adorable.

May the force be with you.

I miss my Reptiles. When I had my house I had
1.2 Bearded Dragons
1.1 Mali Uromastyx
1.1 Ornate Uromastyx
1.2 Egyptian Uromastyx
1.1 Northern Blue Tongue Skinks

Assorted snakes and tarantulas.

The first year I bred my Bearded Dragon females they each laid over 100 eggs during the season !
Biggest single clutch was 36 eggs at one time. Crazy.
