Sick cleaner shrimp?

Not sure if this is the right thread but I've had my cleaner shrimp for about a year and is perfectly fine. Just noticed yesterday that he has been in the corner of the tank for the whole day. Doesn't really move even when i feed the tank and usually when I feed the fish he comes to the top and takes it from my hand. Tank is a 40 long with refugium with full spectrum LEDs. There is only a clown, goby, a royal gama and a few crabs and snails. he is the only shrimp in the tank. Corals are few sps and many lps. Tank is doing very well. Any input would be great thanks.

Does he have a bump on him?

Probably getting ready to, or just molted.

No bump that I can see but yes mr x he just molted. So they tend to lay low after molting?

Yes, after a molt the shell is soft and that makes them vulnerable.

Well thats helpful to know. Must not have ever noticed him just hanging low after he molted. Thanks everyone for the input.
