Its on its side laying. Its a green chromis. The other one seems fine.

The params see OK,
Ammonia is 0,
Nitrites is .5 (slight)
Trates are what you would expect, always sorta up there in scale,
PH is 8.25 or so.

SG is at 1.024

Whats wrong?

2 hour acclimation.

I did a 2-3 gallon waterchange and got the SG to 1.022

It swam around normally for a bit, but then it seems like it is doing the same thing again.

How up there... is up there on the trates? They shouldn't be tooooo up there. 5-25 is ok, you don't want it any higher than 50. When you were done with the 2hr acclimation did the SG & pH match? That's more important than the length of time that you acclimate. In theory if your temp, ph & sg match you can just flip the fish in :) Could you better describe your process, in detail? We might find the missing link there. What's your temperature?

Hopefully the next one will fare better. Sorry about your fishie.

From 20+ looks all the same color to me so I really dont know.

This was the 7th day I had it. I acclimated it properly otherwise it would be dead already.
I floated 15-30 mins, started adding cupfuls of water every 10-15 mins until the bag was full (about 2 hours)
