I just added driftwood to my tank, and i was wondering it it would act as a fertilizer for my plants? Because i have been having a algae bloom and i don't want it to get worse by adding my liquid fertilizer as well.

no, unless its been soaked in ferts, which i highly doubt. and adding ferts doesnt necessarily cause algae. an inbalance of them does. thats why ei dosing is so popular because you basically overload your tank on ferts. i think i said that right anyways
