Small black worms.

So I looked into my tank today and it looks like there are thousands of small black worms over everything my rock corals sand. The worms are only about 2 mm in length and less then 1mm in diameter. Im talking super small like eyelashes everywhere. Does anybody know what they are? Are they safe? is it a type of flat or parasitic worm?
