snowflake moray eel

hello my name is warren, i have a snowflake moray eel, i know that they are known to hide away in rocks and caves as it has for the pasy year, but the past week it has been always out and about, but acting strange it keeps tieing itself into knotts and going up side down does any one know wot this could be??? thankyou

How big is it? what size aquarium?
What water parameters?
Mine will sometimes hang out of its tube upside down but never has tied itself in knots, I have seen them do this while trying to ingest something that is too large. And mine did stay out for two weeks once when stressed after a move, I had used its tube to capture it and it took a while for him to trust the tube again.

Mine would twist itself in knots and then out when i would hand feed him. RIP
