Aquarium Advice FINatic
I have a Sinularia spp. finger leather that is getting too big for my tank (20 gallon). What is the best/safest way to cut it down to size? I know cuttings can be made with scissors or a razor blade, but where on the coral is the best place to do this? Can I keep the cutting in the main tank or should I set up a smaller tank. Do I need to be worried about the coral releasing any toxic chemicals? I'm hoping that once done my LFS may take the cutting/s for credit or something.
