I've had some wood from a tree that my dad cut a long time ago, and I was wondering if it was safe to put in my aquarium (after curing and such)
It's been in the sun for probably around 1 year, so I'm pretty sure it's completely dried out.

Is this branch/wood safe for my aquarium? I see that there are rough edges and branch bumps so would i Need to sand it?

And would i need to remove the bark?

I am new to this process so any extra tips would help as well.
I've attached a picture of one of the pieces of wood in my backyard.
