Something Seems Fishy...

Ok so in my last post I mentioned that I had my tank set up for 5 days-1 week with live rock and live sand. It has now been two full weeks and since then I found many critters (feather duster, snails, and what i believe is detritus (brown) in my sand. i added a green chromis and fish food to help cycle it (yesterday, so cute, couldn't help myself-he was drip acclimated and doing fine)....still nothing. All my perimeters i've been checking have not changed (my fish has pooped twice that i know of). Ammonia 0, Nitrate 0, Nitrite 0...salinity is 1.025...pH 8.0-8.2. What could this mean? Should i keep waiting for a change?

How large is the tank and how much live rock is there?

29 gallons, approx 7lbs live rock, 10lbs dead rock.

Did you add an ammonia source to start your cycle?

If you added live rock and live sand, there may be enough BB to keep things at zero for a while. If your Nitrates start rising, but Nitrites and Ammonia stay zeros, you are fine. If those two go above zero, your tank is not cycled.
