Ok so in my last post I mentioned that I had my tank set up for 5 days-1 week with live rock and live sand. It has now been two full weeks and since then I found many critters (feather duster, snails, and what i believe is detritus (brown) in my sand. i added a green chromis and fish food to help cycle it (yesterday, so cute, couldn't help myself-he was drip acclimated and doing fine)....still nothing. All my perimeters i've been checking have not changed (my fish has pooped twice that i know of). Ammonia 0, Nitrate 0, Nitrite 0...salinity is 1.025...pH 8.0-8.2. What could this mean? Should i keep waiting for a change?ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1395030114.115692.jpg

If you added live rock and live sand, there may be enough BB to keep things at zero for a while. If your Nitrates start rising, but Nitrites and Ammonia stay zeros, you are fine. If those two go above zero, your tank is not cycled.
