Got up this morning to find my elephant nose has four splits on his top fin, don't know what has happened they're clean splits not fin rot. He's in a 50 gallon with eight kuhli, a bnp and bulldog plec and inverts. Im baffled to how this has happened. 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 5 nitrate. Do you guys have an idea or a culprit. Any help would be appreciated.

OMG Gonzo !!! Poor guy. Maybe he brushed up against something. Something itchy made him flash ?? I do hope he is ok .

Thanks, giving him clean water hopefully that will help him. Don't know what he's done I'm stumped! But never thought about him itching he's got a favorite plant he does that on must like the feel of it weird!
