I noticed there were a few of these little white spongy looking things in one of my tanks, now there is only this one. Could they be sponges? They are round or bulb-shaped and looked to have a few little spikes sticking out of one side all in a group.

I have a few brittle worms in the tank. Could they be eggs of some sort (I don't know how those worms reproduce)

From what I ca see, it looks like Q-tip sponge. In my QT, I have a single piece of LR and it is covered with these little sponge. From what I have read, they are filter feeder, but from what I am seeing, it seems to be growing like weeds.

COngratulations on your new tank life form. :)

Thanks! I just think it's amazing how these little "new life forms" spring up outta nowhere! Almost like a new planet forming!
