Hello! I am going to be starting a 120 gallon freshwater setup and wanted some input on filtration. My previous tank was only a 55 gallon and the Tetratec I had seemed to malfunction quite a bit. I plan to really take my time with my new tank and really appreciate feedback. I had my eye on a fluval or an eheim.

I think you'd do fine with either of those, actually. I've had both and they are both great filters. Welcome to AA!
