Hi All!

I am setting up a 46G in a couple of weeks. All my stock is coming over from my existing tank, and then I'll be adding extras as everything stabilises/settles. Will also be moving over my driftwood and plants (anubias, java fern), and plan to add more plants

Current stock:
5 kuhli loaches
1 SAE
1 peppermint bristlenose pleco
Uncountable red cherry shrimp

Plan for the 46G:
Boost kuhlis to 10
Thinking of starting a separate shrimp tank (eyeing off fluval edge 6G)
Schooling fish - maybe cardinal tetras? Also like espei rasbora
Bolivian ram (1? 2?)
Pearl gourami (3?)
And bring the SAE and BN plec over)

Any thoughts?
In particular, how the bolivians and pearls will do?
And any suggestions for schooling fish?

Thanks in advance!

Ten Kuhlis should be nice. I'd keep the tank Asian-themed: rasboras to go with the kuhlis, and a pearl gourami instead of the Bolivian Ram. Pearls are mostly gentle, but males can bully females. If you do get a pair or trio, make sure the tank has hiding spaces, for when he gets aggressive.
