Stocking of 20 long

I have a cycled 20 long that had fish die in that I am cleaning up. It still have 2 live cory cats in the tank so how do I clean it up so I can restock it?

What is a good stock for this tank?
I want to do a little breeding in it but want a hardy community tank. Thanks

I would get a few more corys and maybe some livebearers cause they breed easy
