is a sun coral an easy coral to keep or a hard coral to keep

They are fairly hardy as far as corals go but they are non-photosynthetic so you have to feed them by hand at least once a week or so. I try to feed my daily or every other day. If you are willing to do the feedings though they are not difficult. Here is a page about taking care of them. Take a look around that site too. It has a TON of good info for beginners and experts alike.

May I suggest using a pop bottle with the bottom cut off? Place it over the sun then feed it through through the neck. This way all the polyps get fed not just a few. Just my 2 cents.
