Sunset Mollies

Quick Question i was jsut curious Petco said that the mollies are best kept in groups of three

I bought three of them


I was wondering should they stay in a group like the tiger barbs or swim around as the please...

its not a big concern theres plenty of room and they somewhat stay together just not as tight as the barbs i was curious thats all

2-3 females to a male. Not so much for schooling but to give the gals a break, he will be relentless.

How about if you only buy males? I have tended to this as the males are usually more colourful but also so that I don't have to deal with any fry just yet as I wouldn't be able to seperate them from the rest of the tank.

Males should be fine more than two will offset any aggression.

there fine always keep a ratio of at least 1:3 on males to females so the males dont harras thhe females.
