Switched from gravel to sand????

So I just switched my 10g from gravel to sand and its cloudy...so do i put my filter on right away or do I let stuff settle then put the filter on?

I switched my filter on, I don't think will be a problem for you?

Have you washed the sand before hand?

Yes but I dont think I did a good job so ive had to do three water changes...one more I think should make it look better...

I use a sponge over my filter intake. Esp if it's a long intake.

The cloudiness should settle out fine.

Sand does that, it will settle in a day or two the most.
