I'm going to be getting a new hood for my 55 gal (ballast blew for one side and have a temp fix for now) I was wondering if the led lights actually put out enough or any uv for the corals I've got a decent load and dont want to kill any of them. Any help is greatly appreciated

I just got some for my new tank, only moved 3 corals. The leathers doing great, Radions. Cost a mine, but no heat, no more chiller running half the day. I have pics in the interdiction page

There are many solutions using LED that don't cost a fortune and are superior to just about any other lighting technology. My whole system including SPS frag tank are all LED powered.

It looks like those are hung from the ceiling, am I right by that??

Yes I crawl in the attic and put supports, no falling

Good to know Greg thanks!... That would be nifty to have radions, something I'll have to check with my lfs if they have them. The tricky part is hanging them (I live in an apt and have no attic)
