TechnoFlow Filter

I bought a new filter todfay at the lfs after the previous 2 filters kicked the bucket. The first, a 2month old Marineland 150's motor died suddenly, while the auxilary filter I had for over 2 years only lasted a week before it too died. So, since this is for a 5.5g tank, I bought a TechnoFlow 120 for 15 dollars. It is a waterfall style filter. Anyone ever use these filters or ahd them before? Any tips?

I have never heard of it..
But, if that TechnoFlow filter DOES die, then I recommend the Hagen AquaClear series. Since it is 5.5 gallons, You could get the Hagen AquaClear 20

I got some info on it online. It's a simple, customizable filter. Working good so far; pump is strong and steady.
