Temp?

In a community tank, what should be a normal temperature to keep tank at? I know different fish prefer different temps and thermo has a wide range of about 10 degrees so just asking.

Pretty much just the average temp within the reccomended ranges for all your fish.

I think 76-78 degrees fahrenheit is the normal average temp to keep the tank within for tropicals. I keep mine at 74-75 b/c my fish prefer cooler water but you should be OK with the 76-78 unless you have fish that really needs a different temp.

That's what I do, average it out. As long as acclimation is done safely, most fish can adapt quite easily.

My community tropical tanks run just about 77 degrees F.
