So my friend has recently given me some fish supplies and this was one of the items I was given .. I was wondering if this extract is bad for any specific type of fish, and is it even worth putting in my tank ? I heard it gives a nice tint to the water, but I don't want to harm any of my fish .

It will lower the pH too. It is useful for keepers of fish that require soft, acidic conditions, so anything other than that, it would be [pointless and quite possibly harmful in the long term

I have a ph regulator.. If I put that in with the black water extract would I be safe ? I want to see the tint of the water without rapidly shifting my ph.. I feel like a chemist at this point lol

It sounds like more of a hassle then anything; I would hate to put this in and it harm any of my fish
