Tetra question

Hi, I have a 12 gal tank currently with
1 Betta (M)
5 Glowlights

I want to buy 6 neon tetras to add and remove the betta

Or I want to remove the betta and buy 4 guppies



What is everyone's suggestions/advice? I keep my tank clean with weekly WC and don't over/under feed. I am however, relatively new to fish keeping having only had a tank for two years(with no casualties yet)

Sounds like nice tank the way it is, if they are all getting along.

I am one who likes change and I am,frankly, bored of my tank. Its been the same for two years and I wish to change it quite a bit. Any ore ideas?
