the snails shell

ok so im new to snails in my tank. i got the ones that can only bread in salt water so any whawho i got a few of them well 6 to be exact and now about 3 of them have white lines on ther shelles. i piked one up the therday and its almost like the shell is craked so im a lil werried about them. does any one know why they are craked now?

What is your water parameters ... hard, soft? Soft water with low pH may cause shell Ca deficiency & hole & crack.
