So I suspect I Have green water coming as my water isnt clearing up. I thinking of adding carbon to the filter to see if this will help. Does any one have any tricks for green water willow trees are far an few between here and I already have water sprit floating aswell.

Carbon won't help green water. Are you sure it's green water? Take some tank water out and put it in a white cup and see if it's tinted green. If not you could be having a bacterial bloom. For green water you can try a 3 day blackout but seriously it rarely works and the green water comes right back once the tank has light again. I heard a few people on the site talk about using this and it worked great for clearing up their green water... Green Killing Machine Internal UV Sterilizer with Power Head at PETCO

Yeah I'll do the 3 day black out first and next payday and order a uv sterilizer. Thanks for the help:)
