Thought this was neat and had to share

This is my Zebra nerite that I've had for a little over 2 years now. When I first put him in my 55g tank I noticed that his shell formation changed. Now that he's in my 40b it's changed again It's a decent timeline of my tanks.

That's pretty cool. Wonder why it does that. Very pretty snail by the way.

It looks like someone's taken a pistachio nut shell painted it and stuck it on his back. It's cool how it's done that though.
