fish 'n' fries
Aquarium Advice Freak
Some of you may have seen in the "sick fish" section that my mystery snail decided to try parachuting...unfortunately a bad plan as he doesn't have one. He now has a rather large chunk missing from the front of his shell (new growth thankfully). I've read on applesnails and rainbowsnails and it seems best not to try and glue it with where it is. The issue becomes giving him time to heal...
(I don't want the angels to pick at him now that he's exposed).
My solution at the moment is to put him in a breeder box. It's floating at the top of the tank. I'm supplementing calcium both with foods and in the water. Can anyone think of flaws with this plan? Thanks.
