You eat fish!?

Just kidding - maybe that's why I like small schools of fish.

Same here. The irony is that I am planning a native tank build with fish that some people actually DO eat for dinner. :p

Know what you mean. I've done natives that would otherwise be the frying pan. Kind of weird. Must mess with the fishes heads - wait, your getting the large frying pan out??

Neon tetras
Barbs of any kind
Convict cichlid

Fishobsessed7

Gouramis - my bf loves them I just never have them for some reason
Danios - they just never really interested me
Corys - I want them so badly but I've never had a tank with sand so I can't have them

1) Plecos of any type. No interest.
2) Goldfish of any type. No interest.
3) African/SA cichlids of any type that cannot be kept in a community tank. No interest.

Silver Dollar- Just haven't gotten the chance to try them yet.
Discus- Too expensive and tbh I don't believe I'm ready for one yet.
Tire Track Eel- Not a big enough tank yet and not looking for a fish that will hide too much.

There are tons I haven't owned yet! So far I have never had any kind of:

-Loach*
-Gourami
-Discus*

The only ones out of those that I have any real plans to keep eventually are a school of clown loaches once I get a big enough tank to keep them, and I want to try Discus if in another 6 months I am still able to keep all my fish happy and healthy, maybe that is a sign that I could try some Discus. Who knows, maybe I'll end up with some Tinfoil Barbs or something down the line but no immediate plans :)

Mollies, neons, and any of the large bodied tetras.

Mollies/platys: not that interested, kinda like goldfish
Corys: tbh just not that interested
Neons: too fragile
Most barbs: never had a tank that they'd thrive in or wouldn't kill the tank mates

I've always wanted a Mesonauta festivus (Festivum), Hypselecara temporalis (Chocolate) and a Cichlasoma festae (true Red Terror)
The Festivum I have gone to buy but always ended up with something else. The other 2 I just don't have a big enough tank for.
Hope these qualify as common. They are to me.
