Tiger Barb size

I have 7 ,1/4 inch big tiger barbs in a ten gallon tank how big should i wait them to be till i move them into my 29 gallon with 3 blue gouramis?

1/4 inch Tiger Barbs are TINY!!! Did you breed these yourself? I haven't seen any that size for sale. At any rate...I'd wait until they've at least doubled in size before putting them in with Blue Gouramis.

Recently I have seen some for sale that were the smallest I have ever seen, about 1/2-inch, and I marveled at how small they were.

I agree that they should double in size, and by that time I think you will see they are ready to move - it doesn't take long for them to outgrow that 10.

Tiger barbs grow FAST, mine have almost tripled in size in the 6 months I've had them.
