I'm afraid he's going to die he flips over a lot doesn't eat and appears to be a weak swimmer what's wrong with him?

What are your water conditions? You need to test your water to make sure it does not have too much ammonia. The fish will likely die, and if your water is bad you need to change water frequently until levels are normal. I really hope this helps and I hope it doesn't die.
 

You need too. I have tested mine to find my water was in terrible condition. You can buy test strips at Walmart, or a fish store. Are you doing regular water changes?

Sorry to ask all the questions like an interrogator, but it helps figure out the problem.
 
Do yourself a favor and get the API Freshwater Master Test Kit. A lot more accurate than the strips then post your water parameters.

I know those are more accurate, but the test strips will do. Especially if someone doesn't have the money on hand.
