top dwellers

I currently have a 180 litre tank with:

4 x kribensis
4 x keyhole
2 x blue ram
1 x severum
2 x rainbow cichlid
3 x gourami
2 x killifish

i am after some cool fish that will occupy the top of the tank along with my killifish. I would like a betta but thats a no go with cichlids, anything anyone wud recommend?

Do the gouramis not hang out at the top too? You might could try guppies or hatchet fish, they are really cool.

nah the gouramis tend to stick to the planted area's, would guppies be ok with my fish that i have? i thought with long tails they might suffer!

Well, you could try. A lot of fish see their tails as a tasty snack, so I guess they wouldn't be too good since you have cichlids. Maybe the hatchet fish would be better, just make sure you have a tight fitting lid and keep water parameters pristine.
