I have a 25 gallon community tank, and I am fascinated by transparent marine life! Post pictures of your transparent community fish here, I would like to see what all types of transparent fish are out there. I currently have glass cats, painted glass tetras, and ghost shrimp.

Hummingbird Tetra
Trochilocharax ornatus – Hummingbird Tetra — Seriously Fish

These guys are mostly clear
Rasbosoma spilocerca-“Dwarf Scissortail rasbora”

And these little ones, though you need to make sure one kind isn't the bite sized treat for another.

Danionella dracula

Also though they aren't really translucent, the Hillstream Butterfly Loaches are cool because you can see in their organs somewhat when they are feeding on the glass. They need to be researched to be kept successfully.

Lastly All sorts of shrimp are see through.

How are your glass cats? Heard they're not the easiest to take care of?

Thank you everyone! And my glass cats are perfectly fine, I’ve had them for about four months now and they love to school with all my other fish. I’d say they’re my favorite fish honestly

I've always taken a liking to them but the water where I'm at in Texas is so hard and high in pH that it would be a chore to keep them alive.

Semi transparent Glowlight Tetras.
