Turtle lights keep blowing out

Hello everyone! Me and my boyfriend have a red eared slider and we keep having to replace the lights every week or two. Today, one of them blew out when he plugged it in. Is there any specific brand of day and night time lights we should be looking for?

Is it a regular t8 or t5? You might need to replace the fuse/starter

If not are you sure you are using the correct watt for the light fixture? It seems weird they blow out that fast

Could be left on too long or if you buy cheap ones this can happen too

Could be a ballast if its a florescent light
