Uh-oh Oto???

I'm starting to notice differences in the markings in the fish that were sold to me as otos. Can you please tell me if you can ID these based on the attached pictures? (Sorry- bad iPhone pics are all I have).

The first two look like otos to me. The last pictures are those I am concerned about because they have spots on their back.

There are several species of Otocinclus catfish.

Check Planet Catfish, search Otocinclus to see all the different ones.

hard to tell with the pics they are either otos or a chinese algae eater. Take a look at this. You will have a better idea as you can actually see the fish up close.

I also wanted to add google Otocinclus and look at the pics there there are a tun that look just like your do.

Ok. Got my species ID: Scientific Name Otocinclus hoppei. They are under 2 inches, so I am happy - they will fit in my aquarium! Thanks everyone!
