Uprooted hairgrass

I'm trying to grow hairgrass in my 55g tank but my mollies keep pulling it out. Any idea on what to do? I can't regime the mollies because I don't have a tank big enough for them

I've heard of using tooth pics to anchor them but I would worry about mollies scratching their faces or eyes.

Dhg is tough to grow, hope you have high lighting and co2/ nutes.
