My mother decided to rescue a frog from the pet store since she heard mine was had died yesterday. She asked the woman for a ADF, but instead got a ACF. All I have set up is my 5.5g betta tank. What do I do? She cant return it, because the store was an hour drive. Is it possible to keep my betta, snail and ACF in the same tank?? Im trying to find something to set up for him >.>

How large is it now? I'd say no. ACFs are larger than ADFs and need at least a 10 gal tank for one. Not sure how he's going to do with the Betta either as ACFs aren't as docile as ADFs. Plus they need different temp requirements: bettas like warmer water, ACFs like it cooler.

The ACF is very small still, about the size of an ADF currently. I had no other choice, so I put him in the tank with the betta. He seems to be doing just fine for the moment, and the betta and him totally ignore each other. I bought a tank yesterday im calling the frog sanctuary, lol, and set it up. I seeded it with some filter material and am trying to get it cycled ASAP. For now, I just hope he will be ok!
