Using a feeding cone

I want to use a feeding cone to feed my dwarf puffer fish frozen bloodworms. I haven't had much success with it though and was wondering if anyone had any tips for convincing them to take the worms from the feeding cone.

Feed blood worms with the cone present in the water. Every day bring the cone closer and closer to the feeding area. Eventually the DP will be comfortable with the cone and associate the cone with feeding.

They will learn many things for food.
