Using Driftwood

Ok so i'm interested in trying driftwood in my 1og tank. I have no idea where I could find it or buy it though. Also i'm curious if it has any benefits or if its just really nice to look at.
 
Any good local fish store should have it. I don't know if it would have any benefits (other than looking good). If you get any make sure you soak it of boil it for a long time (soak 24 hours+).
 
If you go to the reptile section at any chain petstore they usually have mopani driftwood or small pieces of wood in bags. ;) It's just not labeled "for aquariums" but it works great.
In my 10g I got an interesting piece of dw and attached it slate so I wouldn't have to take the time to waterlog it.
