valantini and puffing

Then why would they be called puffers? Tbh you really should never see one puff up in an aquarium, as if you do then something is obviously stressing them.
 
yes i have seen one puff up, but not to the extent that the larger puffer species can. If you see him puff its a bad thing and can sometimes lead to death.

You may be confusing puffers with boxfish. They look similar but have different abilities
 
I don't know if all puffers puff up, but I think valentini does puff up.

Puffers are known for puffing up, but I'm sure all puffers have dental plates and eat crustaceans.
