Hi

I added 2 angel fish a few days ago after a 14 day quarantine. All seemed perfect during those 2 weeks and for the first couple days in the main tank. Now one is perfectly fine the other is not doing well. It is vertical and is just resting on a leaf, at times it makes it closer to the surface it also seems to be gasping. I’m not sure what’s up I’m guessing a swim bladder issue or maybe he was injured during the transfer to the main tank. I did the typical acclimatizing float a bag, wait 15 min add water three times then put it in. My only other concern I just thought of was on day 14 of the QT the heater broke into pieces.

Here is the tank info

55g setup for over 1yr

Temp 79

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20ish

Filters fluval 407 and c4 both with extra media

Stock:
2 angels (new)
2 cockatoo apisto
Cardinal tetras
Rosy tetras
3 platys
Couple rescued Cory cats and couple glow light tetras

Heavily planted.

Did a 25% or so pwc 4 days ago used prime as I’ve been doing for years....

Any ideas? Do I take it out just concerned I do not have a cycled qt tank right now plus no heater even if I did

Thanks

Well I thought this morning it was looking better but I was wrong it just died. Had what looked like bloodshot eyes before he went fins up

Not sure if I need to worry about the rest of the stock. I did a large pwc
