I just noticed today that there are very little white spermy things swimming around in my tank. What are they and should I be worried?

By spermy things, I mean they actually look like sperm, with a head and tail.

I'm at a loss as well. Do they swim by motion of the "tail" or do they appear to glide around in the water kind of rigid like?

Did you wake up in the morning and see them? If so they could just be [FONT=Times New Roman, Times, serif]copepods. They hatch in the niddle of the night make a great morning snack for your Fishes....

I believe it is mysid/mysis as well. That is the reason behind the questions I asked.

Look here and see if you recognize the little guys.
