Water changer help

My water changer stinks! I've had it for awhile now and its starting to smell. Can I run something through it to clean it out? I was thinking some vinegar mixed with water. Not sure if it would affect water quality the next time I used it though... Advice please!

Try just some hot water. If that dosent work, then try some vinegar, if that dosent work try some bleach, just be sure it rinse it thoroughly.

Its one that hooks to the faucet and doubles as a gravel vac.

I see you're in Texas, is it hot out? The next time you use it, you might want to let it sit in the sun for a while to dry out.

I was thinking that may be part of the problem because I store it in a plastic container. Maybe if I rinse it out with hot water and set it out to dry in the sun it would help. I'm thinking about storing it in a 5gal. bucket in the garage instead of in that container in the house.
