Water levels fine, but brown algae everywhere

I just started up a 29 gallon reef tank. Has live sand/rock.....all water levels seem fine. But getting a brownish algae all over the glass and rocks and sand. Not sure what is wrong. HELP

its probably diatoms, which are a normal part of the startup process, it should clear up in a while.

As has already been stated. Normal. Just ride it out.

how long has your tank been up? Both of my tanks did the same thing, was over in about a week.

It takes around 2-4 months before you're done with it on average. A clean up crew will help keep it under control

Just wondering. Are you using tap or r/o. If tap you might want to make the switch cause when i had my tanks on tap the alage was horrible so just a thought all of parameter r good what is you PO4 (phosphate).
