So I want to build a paludarium and I have some questions.

On one side of the tank I plan on putting a small water pump, on the other side I want the waterfall. The water will be flowing like a real stream. My queation is, how should I filter this water? There wont be much water, maybe 10-20 gallons.

I was looking at those Duetto filters but most product reviems say they suck. I also thought about a HOB but the water wouldnt be high enough for the min water level. A canister is alittle out of my budget rght now.

I just found a great little filter that would also eliminate the need for a water pump. Its a Microclean 316 internal filter.

Make your own. One of my favorite kind of tanks are the half land and half water as i dable quite a bit in herps. But i also am really interested in river tanks. I use this design with pvc.

I came up with a design for your tank just a weaker pump.

Cheap and works well. And the sponge or media will filter and will house good bacteria. Hide it with plants or rocks.
