Will about 35 watts be enough for a ten gal mini reef? IM thinkin this one light for a ten gallon made by coral life has the double bulbs metal halides in it and getting two of them one with two whites and one with one white and a blue actinic bulb. Do yall think that will be enough for some small corals and maybe a bta or something like that?

are you sure its metal halide?

the aqualight 96 watt quad 50/50 will work better lot of light for coral in that little tank, i use it on my 15 gallon tall

they are just like my 10 000k ones i have in my big coral life light for my 55 gal
so i guess 10 000k I wasnt sure if it went down with the size of the bulb

I had good success with a 10 gal tank using two 36w PC lamps. What kind of lighting you put on the tank really depends on what kind of corals you want to keep. If you intend to have SPS corals, I would look at the 96w quad. If you intend to have soft corals, zoanthids, shrooms, ect..., then I think 96w would be too much.
